About Donna Russell

Donna Russell is a New Yorker through and through! She was born in Brooklyn, raised in Long Island, lived in Westchester and has come home to New Paltz. Why New Paltz? The answer can be summed up in two words: ROCK CLIMBING! After many years of weekend commuting to the Gunks, Donna, husband John and their beloved collie, Lexie followed their hearts and moved to this delightfully idiosyncratic college town. Not only could they pursue their climbing, but also enjoy many other outdoor adventures including: mountain biking, road cycling, swimming, running, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and so on.

Donna received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College majoring in Political Science. She holds a Masters Degree and has achieved an A.B.D. (All But Dissertation) for her Ph.D. specializing in Constitutional Law from The Graduate Faculty of The New School for Social Research in NYC. She was awarded a full scholarship while studying there.

Prior to her career in real estate, Donna was involved in promoting doctor-patient relationships with the community-at-large. She held a supervisory position in a prominent Westchester medical facility where she interfaced regularly with the public. This experience has proven to be essential in her desire to excel in building and sustaining relationships with her real estate clients.

As a Realtor, Donna also recognizes the importance of continuing education which serves her clients well. As an Accredited Buyer Representative, Donna provides a plethora of services and advice to buyer clients. Donna attended the FIRST designation class in Ulster County to become a Certified EcoBroker®. As a certified EcoBroker®, Donna informs clients about cutting edge technology employed in eco-friendly construction. Possessing this additional knowledge Donna has alternative ways to advantage her buyer and seller clients alike.

As a long-time member of the Mohonk Preserve, Donna's appreciation for living simply is deeply rooted in her love of this pristine environment.
