Marlborough is a town in the southeast part of Ulster County. It is on the banks of the Hudson River, half-way between Albany and New York City at the heart of the Hudson Valley.The population was 8,263 at the 2000 census. The town was named after the Duke of Marlborough. Marlborough consists of the hamlets of Marlboro and Milton.
